1. Why isn’t my password working?
All passwords are case-sensitive. If your password isn’t working, make sure that you have entered it correctly, using the same lower- and upper-case characters that you used originally. If you have a reset password, also be sure that you are entering it exactly as it was sent. If you have a reset passwork and would like to reinstate the one you had, do the following:

From the Parent’s Home Page, click on Account Management. In the “Change Password” area, type the password we sent you when your password was reset in the Old Password box. Then, type in the password you want to use in the New Password box. It is easier to enter a password in all one case (either all upper or all lower) since passwords are case-sensitive.

2. What browsers are compatible with your site?
We are compatible with version 6.0 and above of Internet Explorer, Firefox 2.0 and above and Safari 2.0 and above. If you believe you are having browser compatibility issues, please contact our site support staff at 1-800-760-7015 or help@home-school-inc.com.

3. Why do I get the message “Your page has expired” when I use the BACK button on my browser?
This message appears because the data on the page has changed. You can choose to reload the page by clicking the REFRESH button. The current information will then display on that page.

4. How can I change my Email address?
To change your Email address, go to Your Home School, Inc. Account on the Parent’s Home Page. Click on Account Management. This will bring you to a screen where you can change your Email address.

5. How can I change my password?
To change your password, go to Your Home School, Inc. Account on the Parent’s Home Page. Click on Account Management. This will bring you to a screen where you can change your password.

6. How do I log out?
To log out, click Log Out on the menu bar or close all browser windows.

7. Why do I have two passwords?
You may have two passwords because you have created a school at our site. To use our site, you must have a username and password that allows you access to parts of Community and our online Store. If you want to use our PER (Plan/Educate/Record) application, you must create a school with another educator password.

8. Why do I get a message stating “only the original person can change the password?”
If you set up your school and the system keeps telling you that you didn’t, check the list of educators in your school to find out who the system thinks set it up. To do this, on the Parent’s Home Page, go to Setting Up Our School and click on School Members. The educator who set up the school will be listed first. If you would like to change that, log in as that person, change the name to yourself and change the passwords as you like.

9. I can’t listen to the audios available at your site. How can I download QuickTime player?
Download QuickTime by clicking on the following link:

10. How do I unsubscribe from Break Time?
You can unsubscribe from Break Time by going to the Parent’s Home Page and clicking the link to get to your Account Management page. From Account Management, check Break Time in the Subscriptions box. You will then be unsubscribed.

11. What is the confirmation code? Why do I need it?
The confirmation code is assigned when you create your account. After you set up your account, you will receive an email with the username and password you’ve chosen along with the code. You will need to log in again and use the code to confirm your site registration.

12. Why haven’t I received my username and password?
In most cases, this happens because email from our domain @home-school-inc.com is being blocked by your email server. When you register, please be sure that you have entered a valid email address (no typos) and that your spam and email filters are set to receive mail from us.
